Angie Redhead
"Hi, I'm Angie Redhead. My interest in art began with inspiring and encouraging art teachers. While in high school, I took summer classes through Sir Sanford Fleming College, one-on-one classes with oil painter, Joan Divine, and afterwards enrolled in the Fine Arts programme at the University of Ottawa.
Art followed my work career in running a mural painting business in Toronto. This period saw many recreations of Michelangelo, Turner, Ver Meer, etc., and thus began my interest in the techniques of the Old Masters and attempting to create an old world feel in my work. Lately, I've been obsessed with florals! I also make leather wrist cuffs!
